Privacy notice

Last updated 23 October 2026. This covers the Mainti website, waitlist and booking tool.

Who we are

Mainti is the controller of the personal data you give us on this site. You can reach us at romwelchh1@gmail.com.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist:

If you're a pro with a Mainti account: your email, business details, services, hours, team members, clients, bookings and any notes you write about clients.

If you book with a pro through Mainti: your name, email, optional phone number, optional note, the appointment you asked for, and whether you've had a patch test. If you tick the optional box, we also record that you'd like rebooking reminders.

Patch-test information relates to health, which is special category data. It's only used so your pro can keep you safe, and it's shared only with the pro you booked with.

We don't use advertising cookies or tracking on this site.

Who is responsible for what

For waitlist details, Mainti is the controller. For clients' details, the pro you book with decides why and how they're used (they are the controller), and Mainti stores and processes them on the pro's behalf. Pros can see, export and block clients in their own dashboard. To exercise your rights over booking details, you can contact the pro or email us and we'll help.

Why we use it

To run bookings (so the pro and client can arrange, confirm, change and cancel appointments), to send booking emails, and, if you opted in, rebooking reminders. For the waitlist, our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box. You can withdraw consent at any time, and every rebooking email has a way to stop them.

Who handles it for us

How long we keep it

Waitlist details: until you ask us to delete them, or up to 12 months after you join if we haven't been in touch, whichever is sooner. Pros' account data: while the account is open, and deleted on request. Client booking records are kept for as long as the pro keeps them, and can be deleted by the pro or on request.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to object to how we use it, or to withdraw consent. Email us and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled something, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
